London needs to reassess technology
29 January 2010
IT consultant Roger Foord declares himself ‘uncomfortable about London and its position in the world judged by its technology initiatives’ in his first newsletter of 2010.
He goes on to express concern about the London market’s position in the face of emerging competition from abroad such as Qatar, Rueschliken and the planned New York Insurance Exchange (NYIE).
‘London suffers from “being there first” and therefore slightly off the pace when big changes are required using a more modern technology solution,’ says Foord.
